Year in Review - 2017

Family:
Travis and Michelle are still teaching at Chapman Middle School.  Travis is coaching high school wrestling and middle school football.  Michelle is coaching high school track.  This summer we spent some time in Branson with Travis's parents and brother's family.  It was a relaxing week. 

Madeline:

Madeline is a junior in high school.  During her sophomore track season, her 4x800 team qualified for the state track meet and placed 8th.  She also ran the 3200M and placed in several track meets.  This year she did well in cross country.  There were enough girls to make a team (five are needed) and what a team they were.  They won many regular season meets, were league champions and Regional runners-up.  She ran a season PR at the state meet on a difficult course.  She decided not to participate in basketball this year.  Instead she is trying her hand at Scholar's Bowl, which she made the varsity team.  She is also in FBLA and will be competing next semester in several competitions.  In Forensics she qualified for state for IDA (Impromptu Duet Acting) and will be competing again this school year.  She was a solicitor in the school musical of "A Christmas Carol".  She continues with dance lessons and this year has added pointe ballet. 

Kyler:

Kyler is in 5th grade and continues a very active life.  In the spring he played 3-on-3 soccer.  His team was the undefeated league champions.  During the summer he played his first season of kid pitch baseball ending with a 3rd place finish in the league tournament.  He played tackle football in the fall and is starting basketball.
