Softball

Madeline once again played D-team softball this year. She mostly played centerfield and some 2nd base. She played games twice a week until the beginning of July. She enjoys playing with her friends.

Braces

Last June Madeline had to get braces. We actually had a professional tell us her mouth was too small!!! She was very glad to get them removed at the beginning of this June. She celebrated the event with a Laffy Taffy party with her friends.

Bible School

Both Kyler and Madeline participated in "High Seas Expedition" Bible School. Each day they had fun with games, snacks, crafts, Bible stories and singing. On Sunday they performed some very cute songs for church. We were afraid Kyler might get stage fright at the program, but he did a great job singing all the songs and doing the actions.

Dance Recital

Madeline completed her 6th year of dance. At the recital she performed a ballet dance with her group and then a duet. Her duet was to Beauty and the Beast. She was happy to get a trophy following the recital.

Field Day

Madeline's PE teachers organized a Field Day for the school. She had a lot of fun doing some interesting events. She was very excited that the girls beat the boys at a tug of war contest. Her comment, "that just proves girls are better than boys."

Nebraska Spring Game

Travis took the kids to the Nebraska Spring Game this year. They enjoyed a beautiful day watching football. During halftime they were able to go onto the football field to take a drug-free pledge. Kyler has been working on his three point stance so he had to show it off on the field. Of course, dad says this is only the first time of many that he will be playing football on the Husker field!

Easter

We had beautiful weather for Easter weekend. We went to church and had an Easter egg hunt at home. Kyler was very excited to search for eggs and even more excited when he found out there was candy inside! Madeline just noticed that the eggs looked just like the ones from last year.
