Madeline turns 10

Madeline turned 10 this March. She was so excited to be in double digits. It is hard to believe that she is already 10. She is growing up too fast! Madeline designed her own cake for Grammy to make and she also got a brownie cake, which she loved!

Monster Jam 2

Kyler and Travis went to Monster Jam in Kansas City again this year. They saw a freestyle event. They were really excited when there was a crash right in front of them!

Kyler's 4th Birthday

Kyler celebrated his 4th birthday with a Transformer party. Grammy made him a cake with his favorite Transformer Bumblebee on it.

Miranda Cosgrove Concert

For a VERY early birthday gift Madeline went to a Miranda Cosgrove concert in Kansas City. She is an actress on one of Madeline's favorite shows, iCarly. She is also launching a singing career. As a special gift Madeline got to meet Miranda and take a picture with her. She also autographed her CD and a photo. Her opening act was a young performer named Greyson Chance. He has become popular on YouTube singing the song Paparazzi. Since we were sitting in the front row Madeline had several opportunities to touch him (five times as she counted!). It was a very special night.

New Elementary School

Madeline was very excited to start in her new building. The school is very inviting and has some neat features. I especially like the library with storybook characters and a nice "gathering place" for students to read. It is nice to be settled into the new buildings and return to "normal".

First Snow

A snow day came on the first day back from winter vacation. I guess we will have to wait another day to get into our new buildings. The kids took advantage of our first snow and had a good time playing in it and attempting to make a snowman.

New Middle School

For the past three days we have been moving into our new schools. The kids begin on Monday and are so looking forward to it. All three schools are absolutely beautiful. I took a few pictures of the new middle school and will try and get the other schools at a later time.
