Here Comes The Bride
Kyler was asked by Michelle's cousin, Lishe, to be the ring bearer in her wedding. He was happy to accept this very important position. He looked very handsome in his tuxedo and did his job very well. Madeline handed out programs and bubbles. The kids had a wonderful time helping with the wedding and dancing the night away at the reception!

Track
Kyler and Madeline decided this year that they wanted to participate in youth track. We went to three youth meets in the area. Madeline did the long jump, hurdles, 200 meter dash and 400 meter dash. Kyler did the long jump, softball throw, 25 meter dash and 50 meter dash. Both showed improvements in the meets and brought home several ribbons and medals. Madeline's season highlight was beating two boys in the hurdles at one meet!!! Kyler just enjoyed every minute of it and always had a smile on his face when he was competing.

Madeline's 11th Birthday
Madeline turned 11 this year. For her birthday she decided she wanted to redecorate her bedroom. We had lots of fun picking out new bedding, wall color and decorations. On her birthday she received a special delivery of her favorite treat, Georgetown Cupcakes. It was hard getting 11 candles on the little cupcake. Grammy also made her a special Harry Potter birthday cake. Madeline didn't want anyone to eat it because it looked so good!

Basketball
Madeline played on a local basketball team this year. They played in two tournaments. She improved quite a bit throughout the season with scoring and rebounding. She had to adjust to becoming a post player as she was one of the tallest on her team. She had fun playing and really worked hard to improve.

Wrestling
Kyler began kids federation wrestling this year. He loved every minute of it. He wrestled in the 6 and under, 46 pounds division. He participated in three tournaments and placed 3rd at Minneapolis and 2nd at Chapman. Win or lose he was always smiling on the mat. Travis helped coach him and enjoyed being back in the sport.
